Got to go to town to return my rented climbing shoes and spec out some new ones to buy for myself at cost, nice. Had some awesome gelatto on the way back home. Funny thing on the way there, the train crossing had its gates stuck down and people were debating whether to cross or not. There was a whole discussion whether to risk it or not. Then, someone ran for it and the crowd was on.
Got in touch with the designer Bret today. He's got some new ideas for the site and I got our first new mock up going. Download rootdown-logos.pdf More to come. So, they'll be a new look for the site soon.
Also Margaret got a second and best version of the business plan going, as well as a new schedule to get the site finished on time with a decent amount of data in. Next, we're planning on ways to get the company to the public in a 'big' way.
Tomorrow I'm going to pick up my pal Ryu from Geneva. He's flying in from London for a few days and is likely to spend most of his time watching the World Cup in a pub down the road. He's been spending his time watching other people watch the Cup and finds plenty of energy to blog about it all (Ryu's Cup Ramble). Guess he'll be soaking up the wifi here while chronicling the hysteria of the cup. Should be fun, I haven't seen him in a year. Going to try to get him away from the pub for a day of newbie rock climbing though. Glad he quit smoking.
